lovers and friends
to whom it may concern. I saw interesting things toda. i see them practically everyday, but today i saw things that made me understand the unintentional duplicitous nature of people.
Sometimes, you don’t know what a friend is thinking. and you can only imagine that when they get angry at you, they are going to get over it soon. well, sometimes they don’t, and sometimes they dog you everywhere you see them. sometimes, they pretend like they don’t see you, or they do catch you watching them from the corner of your eye, and they just go on doing their thing. Sometimes, you invite them to your place, to see other people and things, and they act like nothing ever happened between the two of you. odd.
You may run into old friends, that you think you will never be friends with again, especially not in the same way. you talk, and you open up, and you realize deep down, that you haven’t changed, they haven’t changed, and that you’re still best friends at heart. You have new best friends, that’s for sure, but you realize that you could totally get back to your old ways, and be the same duo you used to be. It brings joy to know that it wasn’t artificial/superficial friendship when it first existed.
